Created with oil paint over, what I refer to as a, "Muck-Up". I take a photo and muck up the image in Corel Painter X. Once the image is representing just the forms and some of the color readings, I print to canvas and oil paint over. The idea is to bring the final image back to a place it is recognizable, yet impressionistic in its painting style. the original photograph was taken on a Saturday morning at about 7:00 AM giving that splash of sunshine through John Street and burst of light on the Palmetto tree center right.
